just start

✨The hardest thing to do is start.  About seven months ago I decided to go back to school.  Even writing it down now seems surreal.  Many years ago I did my bachelors degree, followed by my masters degree in psychology.  For 15 years I have been working with children and families, but always felt I wanted to do more.

I have always been interested in health and wellness but a few years ago after reading The Blue Zones Of Happiness by Dan Buettner, I decided I needed to dive in deeper.  I realized that our approach to improving health should really be a holistic one. Our diet, lifestyle and environment all play a role in our health and well-being and all need to be balanced in order for us to feel and function at our best.  So, finally I decided to take that step I had been contemplating.  I went back to school to study holistic nutrition and health and wellness coaching.

So many of us are scared, scared of being judged, scared of opinions from others and scared of failure.  But, I think it’s harder to one day wonder what if and regret not doing what it was.

☀️Start by walking 5 minutes a day, start by eating one more fruit a day, start by reading one page of that book, start by doing 5 minutes of meditation, start by applying for that job or to that school, JUST START💕
